<item><title>Manager-Payroll Operations Job (D/Fw Airport, TX, US)</title><description><![CDATA[<b>Title: </b>Manager-Payroll Operations<br/><b>Location: </b> TX - D/Fw Airport - G00DAO<br/>Territory<br/><b>Description: </b><br/><br/>This position leads the payroll services function including pay calculation, check processing, tax, disability pay administration, employee transactions, time & attendance administration, and payroll data management. The role ensures successful delivery of payroll services through day-to-day supervision of payroll staff and partners with other HR Services team members to ensure consistent and effective execution of HR processes. Specific objectives include:<br/>Ensures employees are paid accurately and timely<br/>Maintains integrity of all electronic employee data<br/>Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local taxes and SOX controls<br/><br/>1.Manages a supervisor and team of individual contributors to complete necessary work. Assigns duties/responsibilities and is accountable for achievement of departmental objectives by all subordinates. Selects employees and evaluates performance. Provides ongoing employee development to ensure efficient operation of the function.<br/>2.Ensures payroll is produced on time, accurately and compliant with all federal, state, local, and SOX rules. This includes managing the team that runs the audits, reconciles the payroll file, finds and resolves system problems, and investigates and resolves federal, state, and local tax issues.<br/>3.Manages and designs business oriented workflows related to payroll activities (job changes, separations, new hires, etc.); works with Innovative Delivery, IT, and/or outside consultants to develop and implement solutions.<br/>4.Ensures HR data changes are processed timely and accurately. Manages the team that processes and approves job changes, new hires, compensation changes, and other employee data. This includes handling escalations/questions from vendors, business partners, and management. Resolves and investigates Time and Attendance issues and performs time audits to ensure employees are paid accurately.<br/>5.Works with other groups/teams and vendors to provide data and information. This includes working with vendors to correct errors, provide information or data, resolve escalations, and identify changes/enhancements to systems and interface files required to implement policy, benefit, or labor changes.<br/>6.Manages short-term and long-term disability administration. This includes working with vendors to ensure employees are paid correctly, handle escalations, identify errors, and correct over or under payments<br/>7.Manages administration of garnishments, unemployment verification, union dues, required government reporting, overpayments, and entitlement changes<br/>8.Responsible for identifying functionality, systems and file interface improvements and overseeing implementation of proposed changes.
