Duties and Responsibilities:

* Sell directly to mid-tier and large-tier national and international clients
* Secure new contracts in Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Comparison Shopping Engine (CSE) Management, and Social Media Marketing (SMM)
* Bring a creative approach to prospecting and establishing a qualified pipeline
* Build and maintain a database of leads
* Work with client service managers to identify and close up-sell opportunities within existing client base
* Identify and utilize tools that will identify critical needs of prospects
* Understand needs, budgets and overall project scope of prospects in order for Inceptor's management team to allocate appropriate resources
* Understand the clients' needs to help identify services and product offerings that will evolve within a changing market
* Know our business and explain how our solutions can increase clients' profitability
* Navigate complex sales process to deliver a win/win solution for both parties
* Work within guidelines to negotiate with customers to close engagements with appropriate pricing, service level, and legal terms
* Set appropriate client expectations
* Ensure clean client handoff to client services team
* Manage forecasting, planning, communication and reporting to other division managers
* Implement effective sales methodologies for you and your team
* Meet or exceed aggressive quarterly and annual revenue quotas
* Implement testing and tracking of sales activities in order to improve efficiency
* Manage and mentor the Inceptor sales staff
* Foster and develop increased awareness of Inceptor within professional networking groups
* Manage exhibit booths, and present at industry trade shows
* Take leadership role in competitive assessment and service differentiation
* Work with Inceptor management team on setting marketing strategies, tactics and messaging

Requirements: Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

* Experienced in selling digital agency services
* Experience in presenting to and communicating with Directors of Marketing and above (CEO, CMO)
* Proven track record of closing new business with annual contract value of over six figures
* 5+ years selling search marketing solutions or similar services to large clients
* Skill Set should include expertise in SEM, SEO and Social Media
* Strong understanding of digital media trends, technologies and platforms
* BS/BA or equivalent education preferred
* Superior ethics and integrity in all business dealings
* Strong executive presence and polish
* Exceptional management, interpersonal, written and presentation skills
* Excited to work in a small organization with a boutique feel and team-focused atmosphere
* Hard working and fun
* Creative thinker and problem solver
* A strong understanding of a 2- 4 month sales cycle, the patience for a 1 year sales cycle and the responsiveness of a 15 day sales cycle
